Notebooking pages are a homeschooler’s best friend! Using them requires little planning and you can use them for whatever subject you are studying and with whatever age you have at home!

In my over 30 years in education, I haven’t found anything more effective in practicing writing skills than notebooking pages!

Your child will practice prewriting and thinking skills when orally retelling something you have read together and then writing those thoughts down.

I describe how to use these pages effectively to help you help your child become a proficient writer! I also share some fun ideas and examples of how we used notebooking pages!

This video is an overview of the writing process recommended for this age level to help them practice the skills and techniques required to write a properly formatted 5 paragraph essay.

Once they have the skills and knowledge to write this kind of essay, they will be ready to expand their skills and knowledge to write other advanced forms of essays.
