This Preventing Summer Learning Slide Checklist provides you with a suggested list of activities of different thinking skills in categories. You can use this list and/or add some of your own ideas to it.
Pick and choose a few activities from a few categories so that you are working on a review of a couple skills around three times per week and you will observe your children retaining knowledge learned in the past school year, which means less frustration and fewer review days when homeschooling begins for the next year.
There is a blank checklist with the categories listed and checkboxes for you to use to make a bucket list of activities you wish to target for the summer or you can make a specific list for each week and target a few skills a few times per week.
